10 games on the trot! I do believe thats a club record. A scrappy game, and after conceding a try after 16 seconds, (that caused much hilarity where I was in the crowd) we went on to win a scrappy game 28-10.
There was an outstanding performance from Motu Tony (man of the match, and an absolute revelation at full Back)and Richard Horne scored in his 7th consecutive match.

The afore mentioned (in this blog) Mr Ashley Kline (referee) was up to his usual standard,(abominable) I hope Rovers dont get him for their Cup game against Saints.
On the subject of referees, Karl Kirkpatrick must have been in the knife drawer before reffing the Leeds v Wakefield game. He was heard to say to Leeds center Keith Senior:
"Keith its only a penalty nobody's killed you! And dont throw the ball away. We know which game that comes from!"
And later he retorted when a player was looking at the big screen that shows the video refs decisions: "Don't look at the screen. If you want to do that stay at home and watch it on T.V!"
Pretty sharp eh? lol

Reminds me of a ref i had once that had no sense of humour, all i said to him was, "bloody hell ref, if thats 10 yards, dont ever measure me a carpet", guess who got two matches for that?

Hahahaha, that was pretty sharp! Mind you it has to be said, that 'sense of humour', and 'referee' dont seem to go hand in hand do they?? :)
