Well, England have muddled their way through to the Quarter Finals of the World Cup with a 1-0 win over Ecuador. Again, a bit of a lack lustre display it has to be said. The goal was a corking free kick from Skipper David Beckham. You can call that fella for maybe not contributing to the overall game as much as he used too, but you cant argue with how many times he's pulled us out of the sh*t with one of his trademark free kicks.
So onto Portugal on Saturday, God help us. Well actually His Divineness has helped us quite a bit this tournement, and long may it continue! I really cant imagine what it would do for this country if we managed to win the thing.....the Scots would implode for one lol!
Still have that feeling about the beggers, must admit.....

We will win it, my feeling is still there. I've got a pub opening 1 hour early for me to watch it saturday (10am KO in St Louis)
They'll put us through the ringer ofcourse! but I really haven't seen one side yet that we cant beat, and that includes the Argies lol.

I was just having a look at this, if we win the 1/4 final we'll play the winner of Brazil/ France. We wont get the Argies till the final.
