Hull

Lots of surveys say that Hull is one of the worst places to live. Some of the city is pretty bad it must be said, but a lot is pretty nice. Heres's a few pictures of the nice places :) I didn't take any of these personally, but found them online. So thank you to all the photographers!

Holy Trinity Church.

City Hall, Queen Victoria Square.

The Punch Hotel, Queen Victoria Square.
On my first date with my husband, we had a drink in The Punch. Poured with rain it did!

And now a couple of newer buildings:

The K.C. Stadium, where my lads play!!

The Deep Submarium.

Princes Quay Shopping Centre.

So there you have it, a few pictures of Hull. Not all that bad in parts.

Nice Pic's, we have some great cities in Yorkshire. You will have to post one of the Humber Bridge that is an awesome structure.

if you ever want a nice afternoon out in summer, try somewhere that not many people think about, take a walk along the promenade between the deep and victoria dock housing estate, i tell you its great, not many people would think of walking along the humber but it is lovely, im glad someone else likes hull. i think we have some beautiful places. heres a few more suggestions.
1) queens gardens(including the roundabout near bbc building)
2)bbc building itself, go in for a coffee its a really nice place.
3)kingswood leisure park)
4)east park now it has been refurbished, (animal enclosure and fish pond is brill.
5)wife went round west park said thats good too but i havent been so will take her word.
6)the fish trail, if youve got kids, what a way to enjoy a nice walk.
7)the old town.
8)the museum quarter.
i could go on and on and on, but when you see the tv or national press, its as if we are still a fishing town and nothing else but the docks are gone now, hence the lovely marina on one of them.
people of hull dont help neither they are always slagging the place off, one bad point though..................the big screen.

I say let them slag off Hull, that way we can have it all to ourselves!
