I agree with him but I don't think he'd have gone for a bi election if he knew it wasn't a safe bet he'll win, even got the liberals to stand down first.
I think its much a calculated decision rather than a brave one.
It maybe calculated in some ways, but on the other hand he's never going to get a job in the shadow cabinet again under David Cameron is he?
It'll be interesting to see what develops though wont it?
