SAME OLD FC ALWAYS CHEATING. I can honestly say if it had been rovers done for fielding an illegal player i would have wanted them to have dropped out of the competition, and lets face it if it had been any other competition in any other sport they would have been thrown out, but again the rugby league have shown themselves up to be totally incompetent and then they wonder why other sports dont take us seriously.maybe it is just me but i believe in fairness in sport and doing the decent thing.
Now actually I would have expected to have been thrown out of the comp. I may have mentioned before, but not only did we make a mistake, but so did the Rugby League.
1. The rules are rubbish. The first deadline for signing players is the 1st round. Superleague clubs don't even play until the third! And...
2. Both times Jamie Thackery was played, Hull FC submitted a team sheet, and both times it was passed.
I know it'll be killing you Rovers lot that we have managed to get to Wembley, (my Hubby had a face like a wet weekend) especially when you've had such fun taking the mick out of our crap season.
Ah well, chin up, there's a good chance the best team in the world will stuff us......but then, maybe our name is just written on the cup! :)
Oh and remember, we did get fined £100,000! so that takes care of any prize money we may win, doesn't it?
