how many other cities could boast a place as nice as queens gardens smack bang in the middle of a bustling city centre, have you ever noticed how quiet it is when you are in there as well. at last we seem to have something in common. (im worried), and for all the people that might read this and think, so what, a bit of grass and a few flowers, whats special about that, well ill tell you whats special, this place was once queens dock, and the city turned a busy dock into the lovely place we see today, what a bloody good job they did, hard to imagine the place full of ships.
Again great pictures it really shows a nice side to Hull.
I think its great when run down areas are turned into leisure facilities such as parks for everyone to enjoy.
I think our city center can stand up to any city of the same size. When all the work near the railway station is finished, its going to be really something. I hope they do something with the view from the train as you pull into Hull Station though, some of it is a bit of an eyesore.
