.....but the team will learn from it, and come back better I'm sure. St Helens are a marvelous footballing side, and deserved all their accolades this season and to win everything in sight. Mind you, we cant have them being greedy can we?
I cant wait for the new season to start already. I get withdrawal symptoms very quickly !

In sport sometimes you just have to take your hat off to the opponents and St Helens have been awesome this season.
Coming 2nd to them is certainly no disgrace, they have set the standard for the others to follow.
The last time I saw the lads as downhearted as Saturday was when Saints beat us in the 1/4 finals of the cup a couple of years ago. They'd given everything and some just slumped to the ground where they stood when the final whistle went. I knew that wouldn't happen again, and the next time we met Saints in the cup we beat them in the semis.
You learn from times like Saturday. When the trophy was being presented, some streamers shot up in the air and landed mostly on my lads as they were waiting about. Kicking it off their boots etc. Nah, that wont happen again :)
Serious stuff is Rugby league in Hull you know.
they did well i will admit and clear your eyes, read this twice cos you might think you are seeing things, ready?. i think hull may well win the league next season. i hope they dont but even i can see a team on the up.

We've made some good signing far and i think there's at least one more to come. I'm looking forward to next season already!
