You have to laugh.

Well, the (not so at the moment) Mighty Whites went down to another defeat, loosing 4-1 at Preston.
The Hubby and I listened to the commentary on Radio Leeds as per normal, and although the game wasn't fun to listen too, a couple of comments afterwards made us laugh.
After the game as manager Dennis Wise, and coach Gus Poyet walked past the commentary box, game summariser Eddie (living legend) Gray mused: 'what could be going through their minds now?'. Commentator Adam Pope answered 'Help?'
In the phone in afterwards a fan commented that ' that goalie is more scared of crosses than Jesus' Ok, a bit in bad taste there, but we laughed!

I also listened on Radio Leeds and it wasn't pretty. The standard isn't good enough but I reckon wisey knows that. I think the January transfer window will be interesting.
I also reckon we'll see a difference when Nicholls & Einarrson are fit, we need some runners in midfield.
To be fair to Preston they are a good team and have done well this season, I think a couple of weeks ago we would have been looking at a cricket score.

i told you, parkinson was available but did you listen? no.
i hear that the goalie tried to kill himself afterwards, he tried to throw himself in front of a bus but it went under him

Mick: Well they did say on the radio that we could have been 5-0 down at half time. I think fitness could be a big factor, get them lads training with the Leeds Rhinos, they don't know they're born!!
Phil: I think I've heard every goalie joke going, remember one of out former goalies at Leeds was the legendary Gary Sprake, who the Liverpool kop sang 'Careless Hands' too. Actually he wasn't a bad goalie, it was just when he made mistakes....well, they where always spectacularly unique!

do you remember when he threw the ball in his own net. priceless.

Sprake throwing the ball into his own net and the Kop singing carless hands where the same incident (what a anorak).
I agree with Airliebird though that he was a good goalie but his boobs always seemed to be in front of the cameras.
