Good Luck to Great Britain.

Particularly I wish luck to Richard Horne who has been thrown in at half back. He never seems to get an even shot for GB, was once even stuck out on the wing! The other Hull FC player in the team is Gareth Raynor (who has been smashing) For some unknown reason Kirk Yeaman has been dropped, God knows why!
We really haven't the attacking options now Sean Long has left the squad. It shows up a glaring gap in Brian Nobles squad selection, but lets not get onto him shall we? We'd be here all week!
Anyway, Good luck GB for tomorrow!

i think yeaman has been dropped (sorry not dropped, left out)because i think noble tried to go for strength in the centres, didnt work though. we looked second rate, i think horne had a terrible game and looked out of his depth, he was given the responsibility of the kicking game and to be fair to him, he isnt a tactical kicker, im not having a go at horne i just think he was asked to play a game that isnt his, why wasnt there any half back replacements on the bench, why were they all forwards. i think rob burrows can feel hard done to.

I agree Richard had a bad game, and I feel bloody sorry for him. As I mentioned in my post he never gets an even break playing for GB.
Noble is a prize idiot, how can you take only ONE playmaker and kicker on tour, and Longy cleared off home. Burrows is a good lad but he's not really a playmaker, but at least he can kick a goal!
When you think he sent home Lee Briers (who played in the warm up match) and Cookie, (didn't even make it to Australia) you can see we where going to be up sh*t creek with out a paddle if something happened to Long, which it did!
I personally think we have the talent to beat the Aussies, but playing OUR game as we did the other week, and without a coach that picks names instead of form.
End of rant.

Good God they're frightening me to death! When we loose we just don't 'loose' we get stuffed. I listened to the commentary on the radio and until the 2nd goal went in it sounded like we were ok and would pull things around. Then after that goal went in they just went to pieces. I cant afford to go and see them much, but I feel sorry for the poor devils that do!

Just for Phils benefit Leeds are in with 4 teams now adrift from the rest at the foot of the table. The point is I reckon they will finish above the other 3 because I can see the improvement, results will come soon. So with three teams getting relegated I'm trying to work out where Hull City will finish.

I think we will pull it round, but we have to start getting some back to back results. At the mo we seem to be in '3 steps forward, 2 steps back' mode, and its worrying.

white rose, how can you see the improvement, they were beaten 0-3 at home, they must need to improve a bloody lot more, they are in freefall. and i dont think denis wise is the man to do it.

Well Phil only time will prove which of us is correct.
