A Queen Day

If there is one band I absolutely adore and I have for about 30 odd years it is Queen. My sister and I where fans right from the beginning, and their 1st album 'Queen'.
Every now and again I have a day where I listen to them. I must admit to loving their earlier albums (up too 'A night at the opera') but thats nit picking as everything they did was just fantastic.
This clip is very scarily 32 years old: 'Now I'm Here'

im sorry, you are going to hate me for this, but i think the best thing freddie mercury ever did was die.as is the case for any singer, you may have seen little references in my blog to the fact that i hate music.....any music.i hate it nearly as much as i hate hull. but im sure that to a fan they were very good.

I never really got into Queen although I do like quite a bit of their stuff.
I have their greatest hits (vol 1) on CD and I have a old Album on vinyl called "Jazz".
Freddie Mercury was a real showman while Brian May is a fantastic guitarist.

I know we're all different Phil, but how can anyone not like music? Didnt you listen to any in your youth? It was such a bit part of my teens (and still is) It can cheer you up, make you feel better if youre in a good mood, I dont know what I'd do without it. Isn't there any tune you like, not even 'Red Robin'?
Mick: I particularly love the first 4 Queen albums, mind you I think its because they remind me of my teens. The other person we used to listen too was David Bowie. Maybe because Mick Ronson and the rest of the Spiders from Mars (his backing band in the 7o's ofcourse) where from Hull of thereabouts.
Hmmm, I can see another musical post on the cards lol.
