There isn't many things to look forward too in the close season. Mainly seeing who has the worst new shirt (I think Wigan maybe the contenders there, but then I dont think last seasons run away winners Leeds Rhinos have released theirs yet) and waiting for the new fixture list.
The Fixtures were released at 12 midnight, and our 1st game of the season is at home to Le Catalans. But the fixture we were all looking for was the first 'real' derby game between Hull FC and Hull KR for many years.
So April the 9th it is, we're at home, and I for one cant wait!
The Super League better allocate a damn good ref in the middle, (and thats just in our house!) it may be needed!

Doesn't matter the sport all supporters have one match in mind when the fixtures arrive.
our real derby matches are with the yorkshire teams this season, not the geordies.
