The rumour mill turns.

The rumour mill was in full swing last night as that bastion of sports reporting Radio Humberside revealed that Hull FC's Paul Cooke had embraced the dark side and was about to join the Sith (Hull KR). This story headlined the sports bulletins and even made 'Look North' on the TV. The nightly sports phone-in on the aforementioned radio station spent the whole hour on the subject.
All well and good you may say, but all this took place with nothing but an unsubstantiated rumour!
When asked to back up the story it was only said it was a 'possibility' Now in the rugby league world, if true, this story would be akin to say Christiano Ronaldo moving from Man Utd to Man City.
A 'possibility' with a nod and a wink, isn't good enough as far as I'm concerned, especially as we have a very important game tonight against the Bradford Bulls.

Another rumour doing the rounds is about a certain Aussie Scrum Half (one Brent Sherwin) coming over to Hull FC. If rumours are fare game, why hasn't this potential 'good' news story being reported?
Of course it couldn't be because a certain sports reporter (and rumoured Hull KR fan) wanted to stick an oar in because his radio station are rumoured to have a chilly relationship with Hull FC?
Could it?
Of course not, its just a rumour!

You know whenever I hear his name I think of that programme, the Cannonball Express wasn't it? No one ever remembers it though, except you of course lol.
The Sherwin rumour is looking quite good, he's out of favour at the Canterbury bulldogs, and he apparently has a European born mother so he could well be off quota. I think that could be the key with more reductions in that direction next season.
