Well Hull FC have lost their last two matches. We went down to Warrington last Sunday, and to Wigan tonight.
We were off the boil on Sunday, but could have won it near the end of the match, tonight though was a little different. First half we was completely muscled out, I wasn't pleased. There's one thing taking things easy as it was a 'nothing' game for us leading up to the play offs, but you have to keep ticking over, and we just wasn't.
Second half was better. I have this theory about the team and the fans, they interlock. I've seen the fans pull the team up from their bootlaces before today and its a sight to behold. I think its because we can get into their earshot, especially when they've let a try in and they stand behind the posts for the conversion kick. If the fans are near them then, you can really lift them. Its a good feeling. Maybe it works because we have a lot of local lads in the team.
Tonight it started to happen again, the fans really got going, and the team responded, and played quite well in the last quarter, just too late to have an impact on the game though.
I tell you this, in a fortnight's time when we go to St Helens, and a win will take us to Old Trafford. The fans will be there, and the team WILL turn up.
Amen to that!
I hope Leeds United start to pull it around tomorrow, they've gone behind Hull City!!!
Come on Leeds!!!

Next three matches Coventry, Birmingham & West Brom just what a team out of form needs (not).
nope, they didnt pull it round lol. next, you say that hull havent been turning it on in last couple of games, it may have seemed a "nothing" game but just remember bradford last season they didnt have a particularly good season but came into the play offs really boiling over, i believe hull will get a proper tonking at saints in a fortnight, and im not just saying that as a rovers fan but look at the form saints are in. hull are having a dip in form it was bound to happen and they will i believe find it hard to lift themselves for the qualifying game after saints.........remember you cant just turn form on!!. the same is relevant to rovers as well, i really am fearing widnes.
I hope Leeds U do turn things around, hopefully after the cup win last night, scoring 3 goals will pick them up.
Where the FC are concerned, on paper it looks like we'll get tonked at Saints. But we have 2 things in our favour, we know we can beat them at Knowsley Rd, and 2nd, I'll be there using my psychic energy to help them along!
Onward and upwards methinks! :)
pity that psychic energy never worked when you went to warrington. lol.
