A Great Day For The City.

I was pleased of course with our 22-14 win against Hull KR. Neither team played really well, but that usually happens with derby matches. The tension plays a factor I think. I know it was too much for me, it's tired me out, so gawd knows how the players felt!

I think you're right and derby are rarely classics. With the teams having not met for a while they will have seemed even more at stake.
But like all true fans "Its not the taking part its the winning that counts" And you have the bragging rights.

I was a really hard game physically. I'm worried about the lads as we're away at Salford on Friday so that will be 3 games in 7 days. RL is a bit different to footie as bodies really need to recover.
But we're rough stuff and made of good stuff! lol
