On to the Semi's! (Fingers Crossed!)

Challenge Cup quarter-finals tomorrow. I'm optimistic (as always) But it's a matter of which Hull FC will turn up. Will it be the team that beat Saints and Leeds or played in the 1st half against Wigan the other week, or, the team that played in the 2nd half of that match?
Ah the mystery that is the Challenge Cup!........and supporting Hull FC!
Come on you Hullaaaaaaaa!!!!

Thanks, we may need it!
well, I had a look at the quiz, and I have to say I didn't know the answers to many of them lol.

Sorry the quiz was hard, to be honest I set it that way especially in the Music & Sport rounds.
The reason was I was trying to beat a team of school teachers who have won it the last two years.
But I failed they won with 65 points but were helped with a maximum on History (which they played their joker so 20points).
A couple of other teams pushed them close though.

Well I've had a bit of a sulk and I'm all right now. Rumours of an impending announcement of a top new signing has perked me up a bit. :)

Well the rumours are Shaun Berrigan, and Shifty!! My Lord I hope they're true!
Just as a matter of interest, do you know of any other fellow reds that are as 'impressed' with Crookie as you are? My old man keeps his gob shut on the subject lol.

my mate who goes home and away with rovers and his son and daughter feel the same as me but their attitude is hes here now so lets get on with it.
i think a lot of fans feel the same but the fact we nicked him off you lot compensates for it, where as me i just see the fact that you have offloaded a bag of trouble on us.

I thought he would do a good job for you, if he could behave himself. You would think he would do, just going to a new club etc, it seems he hasn't though.
As far as I'm concerned now him leaving could have been a cloud with a silver lining. Although this season has been a big disappointment so far our lack of experience at half back looks like being addressed.

this isnt going to be addressed until next year, and the way its going there is no guarantee (as is the case with rovers also)that you will still be in super league. and this isnt just a quick swipe. you must admit it could do with the closeness of the league, will these players come then?

Well I'm under no illusions, any players we do sign (or have in the case of Adam Dykes) will have clauses in their contracts if such an event happened. I personally think that we have a good enough team to at least stay up, maybe even sneak a top 6 place if we get things together. It's the 2nd half of the season when things really get tough and all the teams that are doing well now but have smaller squads wont be able to cover the injuries like we can.
I also think Rovers will stay up. It's Warrington that might just get sucked in you know.
