We play our re-arranged game against Salford today. For once all of the city will want us to win as the Sith are in a fight with Salford to avoid relegation.
Now a few FC fans would have liked us to loose today, purely for mischievous reasons of course, and not something I go along with actually.
But things have changed. With Wigan being docked points for salary cap infringements, we have found ourselves in 6th place. This puts today's game in an entirely different light....win and we find ourselves in 4th!
An optimism is starting to blossom amongst Hull fans, where just a few weeks ago we were just thinking of seeing out the season, and looking forward to the next, a decided upturn in form and this little bit of help has got us interested again.
Don't waste this chance...........Go get em lads!

Reminds me of a few years ago when the mighty whites beat Arsenal to give the Red Vermin the title. A lot of our own supporters wanted us to lose.
EXCUSE ME!!! The whole of the city want you to win? I for one hope you take a right tonking. I never want you lot to win any game, I hate dull fc with a passion, not just a little dislike but a pure clinical hatred. Even if this was the last game of the season and our whole existence depended on it, i would still be cheering for salford. I would never want to give any dull fan the satisfaction of being able to say "you only stayed up cos we beat them" reminds me of the time in the eighties when if we beat leigh at leigh you won the league, i was one of many at hilton park that day cheering leigh to victory and booing mike smith for his superb interception try, even he hung his head in shame. we carried the new champions leigh off shoulder high and were exstatic. so come on salford stuff em. my prediction is we will be 1 point behind going into the final game at home to huddersfield and i believe we will be safe by about half way through the second half, we will then celebrate for the last quarter of the game by really ripping them apart with all the pressure off.
Well I think you're the exception that proves the rule, as apparently a few of your fellow followers of the Dark Side where at the KC today.
Anyway, fret not. We haven't really helped you, just kept it a level playing field so to speak. You lot have to do the biz on Friday away at Salford. I wish you well but we will be far too busy with a trip away to Saints to worry about you lot!
we do noy have to do the biz at salford, im not sure we will win, if we dont im still not worried, as ive said we will do it against huddersfield, if salford do beat us it will be their last win.
